Embracing the Empty Nest

Embracing the Empty Nest

A chapter is closing, after almost 3 decades of mom’hood and 20+ yrs as a full-time stay home mom, I’m Embracing the Empty Nest. As long as I can remember I wanted to be a mom, stay home mom, everything about Motherhood was my career, so letting it go tugs on my heart strings. I love my people so much and serving them as their mom has been my Greatest Joy!

I won’t lie, the emotions that are bubbling up are so real and I’m feeling all the feels, def makes it hard! Makes me want to go back and gather all my favorite memories and relive them in real life…but, I can’t. I’m grateful for all of it tho and I’d do it all over again!

Empty Nester’hood is VERY new to me! I never thought about ‘what’ I’d do after my kids didn’t need me to stay home with them anymore. If you know me, you know I’m up for a good challenge, so I’m going to make the most of everyday trying to figure to this Empty Nester thing.

I’ve been making a list of all the things I want to do, be, have, and see. I’m embracing the Empty Nest to make this chapter of my life just as great as the last ones! I’m focusing on my top 7 areas of my life:

  1. Embracing Empty Nester’hood
  2. Self Care & Wellness
  3. Health & Fitness
  4. Hobbies & Interests
  5. Marriage & Relationships
  6. Travel & Adventure
  7. Running a Business 9th&Mayne Stickers

I know it’ll be a fun new chapter and I look forward to all the things I learn, so let the fun begin!

To My Kids: I’m forever grateful I was able to be a Stay Home Mom for you! Each of you hold a special place in my heart and I love you so much!

To My Husband: Thank You! Thank you for supporting me in being a full-time Stay Home Mom, without ever complaining. Your support was everything.
